Product Introduction
The automatic back washing sand filter for agricultural irrigation is key equipment to ensure the quality of irrigation water. It can effectively remove impurities such as sediment, suspended solids and algae in natural water sources, prevent the blockage of sprinkler nozzles and the wear of drip irrigation emitters, ensure the healthy growth of crop roots and improve the planting efficiency.
Working Principle
The water flow enters the filter from the top and passes through the filter tank filled with homogeneous quartz sand from top to bottom under the action of gravity and pressure. The impurities in the water are intercepted by the pores between the quartz sand particles, and the clean water flows out from the bottom of the tank. When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter reaches the preset threshold (usually 0.05 – 0.1MPa), the back-washing program is automatically started. At this time, the inlet and outlet water valves are closed, and the back-washing valve is opened. The water flow enters the tank from the bottom in the opposite direction, fluidizing the quartz sand filter media, peeling off the impurities and discharging them through the sewage outlet with the waste water.
