Product Introduction
The plastic centrifugal filter is a device that uses centrifugal force to achieve solid – liquid separation. It is often used in agricultural irrigation, industrial water treatment, and laboratory sample processing fields, which can effectively remove sand, suspended solids and other impurities in water.
Working Principle
- Tangential Water Inlet and Vortex Generation: The impurity-containing water flow enters the conical cavity of the filter at a high speed along the tangential direction, forming a strong rotating vortex. Usually, the inlet water pressure needs to be stable at 0.15 – 0.3MPa to form a sufficient strength vortex field.
- Centrifugal Sedimentation and Impurity Separation: Under the action of the vortex, solid particles with a density greater than that of water are thrown to the inner wall of the conical cavity, and sink to the sand – collecting tank along the wall under the action of gravity.
- Clean Water Rising and Discharging: The clean water after impurity separation forms a low – pressure area in the center of the vortex, and moves upward, and is discharged through the top water outlet.
